When you arrive at Winkworth, you’ll be greeted by our welcome team. You’ll need to have your tickets to hand when you arrive to show staff through the car window. National Trust members will also need to show their membership card
If you’re more than 10 minutes late for your arrival slot then entry will be at the discretion of the property team.
You’re welcome to stay for as long as you wish, up until 5pm when the Arboretum closes.
Our toilets are open as usual and are being cleaned regularly. They are working on a one-in, one-out policy.
Our play areas have now reopened! Please note, we are asking for visitors to keep to a maximum of 15 people on the Natural Play area and 25 people on the Tree Adventure at one time and that they keep to a 30 minutes time limit to allow as many people as possible to enjoy each area.
We’re also asking everyone to sanitise their hands before using the equipment.
Our tea-room has now reopened and will initially be serving a limited range of takeaway hot and cold drinks and some light snacks. We’ve introduced new safety measures including closure of our seating areas, screens at our till and waymarked routes. We’ll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you will support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.
